Failed V.2 Update

Hello everyone!

I know it has been a very long time since I last posted but i have been very busy lately.
Soo I just wanted to update you guys, yes I did go back to the DMV to retake my test and no I did not pass.. :( We didn't even get to the three point turn this time. It was the reversing straight. We had parked and the I reversed, so the tires were already crooked so when she said to reverse 50 ft. I was going crooked and she automatically failed me! But on the bright side i did go the same week and passed with flying colors!

 Also I got my car! since I don't have much time to be posting i will tell you the car.... drum roll please! A 2012 Hyundai Sonata SE! Yes a SE except it doesn't have a GPS or sunroof, but hey its my first car, and i love it! it is a brand new car but it is leased but i honestly don't mind!

P.S. I AM NOT A BAD DRIVER! I just had to put that in there Lol

Drivers License Failure!

Hey everyone!
So today I went to take my drivers licence test! Unfortunately i failed :(( 
I was so upset, it was that stupid three point turn. In my defense I kinda went on a whim and so I was not prepared, nor have I ever done a three point turn! So I am going back again later next week to see if I pass, which I really hope I do becauseee..... I'M GETTING A CAR!

Yes! I'm getting a car this weekend, but I wont say which one till I do it it can be a surprise! But back to the test.. yes, I failed. She told me do a three point turn now and I completely froze, I knew what it was but I had no idea how to go about it. I just sat there asking questions. Her response, "you should know how to do it." And so I made one move just one and by then I had already failed.

But I'm ready for next week, I now what what I have to do, just need some practice and I'm ready to go!
Ill let you guys know how I do, but till then here a video on the stupid three point turn..

University Application Help!

Hello everyone!

I am so deeply sorry that I have not been posting as much! So much is going on with my life as I am taking a full load of classes AND not to mention applying to other schools around the state. And so iv been working so hard on my admission essays, perfecting it to the max. As we all know the essay portion is very important.

I have also been researching the top schools in my state deciding which to apply to. According to New Princeton Review (click link to go to page) there are a few Florida schools that have made The New 2012 Best 377 Colleges.

These include:

Florida Southern College- FSC

Florida State University- USF

University of Central Florida- UCF

University of Florida- UF (my first choice!)

University of South Florida- USF

New College of Florida

University of Miami- UM

Because these schools are the top of course I will be applying. But it really is alot of hard work filling out the applications. The essays for me take the longest. But i found a really cool website that can help out with correcting and giving helpful opinions on your work! How cool is that? I know I'm a nerd, but hey! I want to get into a good school. So as you probably have noticed I have not done a post on life recently. Well this post is here to change that.
This is going to be a nice short and sweet post on quotes that help me get through my day, or even give my mind something to think about. Garnier BB Cream Review!

Hello everyone!
Today I will be doing a review on Garnier's new BB Cream Skin Renew Miracle skin Perfecter, wow that's a mouth full. I purchased mine at Target for $8.99.

 B.B. Cream is also known as Beauty Balm Cream which combines several beauty routine steps in one. If you have concerns such as discoloration, dullness, blotches and dryness this is the perfect product because it does it all in one! It can be such a hassle to find products that fit your specific needs, then to pile them all on..that's just took much work.

There are two shades, light/ medium and medium/ deep, which is the one I am reviewing. This is what the packaging looks like:

I applied a small amount on my hand, and i have to say that is goes on very smooth.

 

I then blended it in, the product blends nicely. At first I thought the product would be too pigmented but it really isn't! IT gives light coverage to even out the skin tone.

 

I am actually really liking this product. It has SPF 15 which is a plus, no need to go out of your way to find your sunscreen, it claims to renew, brighten, evens, and hydrate. The product is very light weight and I really can feel it hydrating my skin.

 

 One thing that I am not too fond of is the sheer finish which can make your skin look oily at times, take this into consideration. Another thing is that it does have a scent! For me it does not bother me and I find it to be pleasant, but others might disagree. 

 

This cream even contains vitamin C and mineral pigments!

 

90% had a more even complexion

93% saw a more healthy glow

96% saw smoother skin

 

 

 

 

 

It's Earring Time!

Hello lovelies!
Today I decided to make a post on a few of my favorite earrings. These are actually the ones I wear most often and I simply love them!

The small white hearts are the newest edition to the family as they just arrived in the mail yesterday. If you cant tell I simply adore bows, I have a few more but decided just to share these two. The small bunnies I worse just about everyday during the summer while I was on vacation. I got so many compliments on them it was crazy, but I'm not complaining!

The black flowers actually came in a set and are from Forever21 while all the rest are from ebay, my favorite place to shop for accessories! And they are so cheap too!
Can you guess how much I paid for each? Probably not, they were actually all less than $1 US! Crazy right??

I personally love wearing earrings, without them I actually feel boyish in some way. I have a feeling as if I am missing something almost as if I'm naked..but not, you guys know what I mean. I don't know what id do without my earrings, as a matter of fact I always have a pair on, except in the shower or when I'm sleeping of course. But I notice that I never go out without a pair on, its a must have!

Ariana Grande!

Hello everyone!
So today I was searching new songs to listen to, and I suddenly thought about the girl from the show Victorious. Not the main character but Kat Valentine also known as Ariana Grande in real life!

                                                             
She looks so cute on the show and I love her characters personality, so I thought id check out her music, and as it turns out shes pretty good! I love the high and low notes she reaches, sometimes I'm speechless and all I can think is 'wow shes really good.' I strongly recommend you to check her out I'm sure you will love her!

She mainly does covers but she does have a song and video out called "Put your hearts up." (I will link it at the bottom of the post :) ) This song gives a strong and empowering message about giving a little love can change the world. One of her many covers that I enjoy includes the song "Emotions" by Mariah Carey, which can be found on itunes. L'oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara Review!

Every girl needs a good mascara! I personally use mascara on a daily bases, even more than eyeliner. Think of your eyes as a flower and your eyelashes as the petals, they should be long and pretty looking! But unfortunately they are so hard to find. This month I am loving the L'oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara!


This is how it looks. And its less than $10 at your local drug store!

It is amazing, it gives you the length, the darkness and even contains Hydra Collagen which creates up to 12x more volume.

This mascara also brings a brush that is twice as thick as traditional brushes.

For me with one coat it lengthened, added volume, defines, conditions, and holds a curl. And it really does last me all day. I wear it from morning to late night without it smudging. The wand seems a bit wild, but the criss-crossing hairs really work. The tip was useful to reach the tiny lashes and i didn't get much mascara on my eyelids or skin while doing my bottom lashes. When I applied there was no odor nor was there any when the mascara dried.

This mascara is also very easy to remove! Just a simple face cleanser and it comes right off. No need for scrubbing or ripping out your eyelashes as some other products need.

College Life VS. Highschool

Good morning everyone! So  here I am sitting in a library waiting for my next class to begin, then it hit hit me, I love the college life. Remember when we were in high school and had to wake up every day at 6 in the morning? Well in my case it was actually 5:30 because I had to catch the bus in the morning and my school started at 7:40, but you get the idea. It was early.

With college YOU decide what time you want to get up, YOU decide what classes you want to take and when. YOU control your life, unlike high school where the classes where chosen for you and time where laid out for you. It's like a prison the way the have things scheduled, two hours math, five minute break to get to your next class, then two hours of English, then five minute break, then 2 hours of history followed by a five minute break and so on. It blows my mind. In college you get to decide the order of your classes, the times, the place, the length, the speed,how much time between each class and even the professor. You get to decide.

I also noticed i have much more free time, I can actually get a job without being bombarded with too much work. Always having assignments due so soon can really be difficult to handle when you also have to be in clubs and have other classes and to top it off a job. But with college you get to pace yourself, no need for the teacher to tell you to turn the three page essay aassignment on Shakespeare in on Tuesday and its already Monday. Do they really expect us to set our real lives aside for them just so we can complete their assignment. I'm sorry sweetie but we have lives outside of your class.

Another thing I love about the college life is that we are treated as adults. Usually in high school the teachers will have their set of rules. No talking, no texting, no eating or drinking, must ask permission before going to the restroom, like come on we arn't little kids. We should be treated like adults, we are young adults. During my religion class at college i like to have a light snack maybe some peanuts, i sit happily in my seat eating my snack with the professor goes on with the lecture no problem. We need to use the restroom? that's fine just quietly leave. Its as simple as that.
And so to put it all out there, if you haven't noticed I prefer the college life, wouldn't you?

Life

So I will begin my blog with a post on life. Now what exactly is life? Well according to a post on Urbandictionary.com "Life has no meaning on its own, you have to define that meaning by yourself. Whether it'd be an influence, or something that you've found out by yourself. However it should be progressive and not move in a vicious cycle, however if you want your life to move in a vicious cycle then so be it, it is not my decision to make the living human that you are." I believe this is very well put.

Have you ever thought to yourself that maybe life is simply a cycle that comes back; your achievements alter but yet come back to your first goals. Example:

 

At age 4, goal is not peeing in your pants. At age 13, goal is having friends. At age 16, goal is having a car. At age 20, goal is to have sex.   At age 35, goal is to have money. At age 50, goal is having money. At age 60, goal is having sex. At age 70, goal is keeping driver's license. At age 75, goal is to have friends. At age 90, goal is not peeing in your pants.

 

 And so as you can see maybe life really is simply a cycle. But whether life is a cycle or not we must enjoy life to its fullest. We should make our goal every year, every month, and every day to be happy and spread joy. We should be with our loved ones, smile daily, and just be happy. We only live one life so why not make the best of it. Spread your happiness to others. Give a wave or a smile towards a stranger and make their day. By spreading joy to others you are bringing joy to yourself, it’s the law of attraction. Let us all be happy and live a happy life. J
